Everybody was nervous. As we ran on stage we got into it a bit with the cupid shuffle. Everyone claps when we turn around and it says ’Go the All Blacks’

The girls give the ukulele’s to the boys. Whaea Marlene says “Singing don’t worry” then we all joined in. My fingers were starting to go red from all the strumming. I was getting mixed up with changing all the notes. We finally finished. I thought YAY!

BUT we still had the Haka to do.

I started to lead. I thought, “We are almost there!” We still had one more time to go around. We all said HEI.

When we walked off I heard voices calling my name.

I smiled.

After all it was lots of fun.

Everyone was excited with big bulgy eyes.

We started the Cupid Shuffle with shaking our hips.

The audience saw GO ALL BLACKS at the back of our t-shirts. They clapped. I smiled at Millie. She smiled back. I laughed.

 Now we were singing with the Ukulele, ‘Three Little Birds’. We sang beautifully. They clapped.

 Now the boys are doing the Haka. The big boys are very scary. I looked at Leani, she made me feel better.

Now it’s over. I felt sad because it was over.
